"My Identity" at the 8th International Festival of Surreal and Creative Photography

The festival takes place from September 26 to October 4, 2026, within the historic premises of the 19th-century Villa Aurélienne. This prestigious international event remains one of the few European platforms entirely dedicated to experimental and creative photography that challenges the boundaries of conventional perception.

Concept of the Project:

Where the image blurs and gradually transitions into pure abstraction, one can trust only their own sensations and feelings. The feelings of fear, anger, and resentment caused by constant attempts to assimilate into a place full of xenophobia and intolerance. Having experienced discrimination and violence in childhood, which clouded the understanding of my identity, nationality, and sense of belonging, through this art project, I dive into my past to reveal my true self.
